The First P.T.L. Meeting is on the schedule for Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 6:30pm. Plan now to attend - we have some very important items to cover to start this year! Volunteer your time to help out on some of the great projects we have planned. As a bonus, if you attend the meeting, your child gets a "Free Dress Pass" for the next day! You don’t want to miss out!
How are your Sally Foster sales going? The deadline is September 24th, but don’t wait until then if you have finished collecting your orders - you can send them into the office now! Remember, this is the biggest PTL fund raiser of the year!
On Patriot’s Day, Thursday, September 11th - We are not out of school, but teachers and students are encouraged to wear red, white and blue clothes! Let’s show our true colors! We’re proud to be American! We will be having a special Chapel service - please join us!
School Tee-Shirts and Shorts have been ordered. We will let you know when they arrive so you can bring your payment and pick up in the school office.
Parents, please feel free to join us this week for Chapel on Wednesday morning at 8:30am. September chapel offerings will be sent to Lutheran World Relief. They offer a ministry of help and relief to people suffering the aftermath of storms and natural disasters all over the world. Your gifts will go a long way - thank you for sharing and caring!

Welcome Back Dance - The middle school classes are invited to a “Welcome Back to School” dance on Friday, Sept. 19 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The dress is casual (within dress code limits). Tickets will be sold that week in middle school for $3.00.
Did you know? We have a clothes closet full of recycled uniform shirts, shorts, etc. Many families have given us the uniform items their children have outgrown and we offer them to you for only $2.00 for tops and the bottoms are free! When you have time, please stop by to check it out - They aren’t doing anyone any good in a box in the closet!
Are you ready for some football? Redeemer has combined with the boys from St. John’s to make up a football team - the mighty Panthers! They have been practicing through heat and rain to get ready for the new season. Our first game is Saturday, Sept. 6th at Catholic High School at 10:30am. There will be a Pep-Rally on Thursday at 1:45pm in the parking lot of St. John’s School. Come out and cheer our team!
Volleyball Practices have begun on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Our first game will be on Monday, Sept. 22nd.
Fall Festival is on the calendar for October 4th! It’s always a lot of fun - mark your calendar now! Please start saving Kids’ Meal toys to use as prizes (they need to still be in plastic packaging, please). Questions? Call Mrs. Holm at 434-3688.

Orders will be due by 8:30am on Thursday, September 4th. (It is Thursday this week only because of the holiday) This week’s lunch is being sponsored by the 8th Grade class and will be PIZZA . If your child wants to participate, please put their Name, Grade and Menu Choice on the outside of the attached envelope.
